6X16 - The Blackout in the Blizzard
Brennan: “A time can come when you are not angry any more and I am strong enough to risk loosing the last of my imperviousness …….. maybe then we can try to be together.” - hoping glance -
Booth: - small sweet smile - “I’m going to write down a date. And guess what that time is. I want you to do the same.”
Brennan: “Why?”
Booth:“Why? Because when I was a kid and I wanted something really really bad I wrote it down on a piece of paper and burn it. It was like a kind off spell. It was bound that my wish would come true.”
A lot of people forget that they actually talked about wanting to be together. After all the hurt and pain, they wanted this. They wanted it badly. It could have been so easy to toss them into bed at this moment. That would have made me feel cheated. This moment said it all. They wanted it. Wanted each other. Their goal was to work to the point where they could be together. Porgression, you’re doing it right.
